Golf in Gandia
We meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at Club de Golf, Gandia.
Club de Golf, Gandia is open every day, although busy at week-ends, as this is when it’s used by more Spanish members. It’s a 6-hole par 3 course in a pleasant and secluded setting amongst orange groves, not far out of Gandia town, between the town and the playa.
Although the golf course has only 6 holes (course total is par 18) the longest of which is 83 metres, members find it a good venue to practice their short game. Recently a further 6 tees have been added which give 6 further different tee directions. The Golf Club does boast an adjacent 180 metre driving range where golfers can practice their long game.

It is stressed that the Golf Club is a Spanish-owned private members' facility with an annual members' subscription. It is also necessary for all members to take out an annual subscription for insurance purposes. This is called a ‘Licencia Federativa Aficionado’. Anyone playing who is a non member currently pays 15 euros per day plus 2 euros insurance.
