Several rocks weighing about 27 tons each rolled down from about 200 metres on to the entrance road and parking area of the 980 year old monastery. The Monastery perches 725 metres high on a mountainside and is now reachable only by cable car as road and rail links have been cut. " Narrow escape eh! to think we were walking just under that ridge only a couple of days ago!
